What a beautiful way to start the New Year out. Signing up to be your friend. I love what I have read so far. The water cure is devine. I am going to spread the treat. I am going to continue reading your information and look forward to being part of one of your sessions. I am ready to take another big leap in my Spiritual Journey. I have been sailing slowly down a gentle river for awhile and am ready to move to a faster current. Looking forward to reaching into the Magical World More. Huge Hugs and a Happy New Year to you, Gail from Asheville, NC

About Me:
I am Shaman Born. My grandfather was a Shaman for the Caddo tribe, as was his father before him. As for me I have been able to see Grandfather Spirits since the age of two and could bi-locate (literally be in two places at once) by the age of fourteen. I didn't know those things were special. I thought everyone could do it! And you know, I was right.
The classes I teach around Puget Sound are based on this and my beginner’s empowering their lives and helping them embrace classes help students take control of the "gifts” they all possess skills that previously they thought only others could attain. When you take control of your own hidden powers, you don't have to be a victim. I have been on the Red Road a long time long before I even knew there was a Red Road. I live a spiritually pure life- abstaining from alcohol and tobacco (except for occasional ceremony) as well as coffee and recreational pharmaceuticals. So what
sets me apart from other Shaman? I didn't learn the way of the Shaman from another Shaman- the Spirits teach me gently when I sleep. And I believe that everyone can do what I do. Just like the Spirits who teach me, I can't keep a good thing to myself.

Fathers Day

Father's Day Owner's Manual

Wouldn't it be great to get a "How To" manual on Fatherhood when you pick up the baby from the hospital? Kind of like buying a car... My son and I have been together for 21 years. He's my constant companion who has lasted through two divorces and countless relationships. If you asked me what my greatest accomplishment is, I would say "My son." He has grown up to be a good friend as well as a great person with an agile mind and quick wit. His words of wisdom sound ver… Continue

Cooking up Cooperation

Cooking Up Co-Operation
My world is filled with Psychic Fairs, Expos, and scheduling individual appointments. My work as a Non-Traditional Shaman is spiritual work; however, there is a necessary business side to that in order to live. I was doing a fair a bit west of Seattle. Even though I hesitated for 4 months before I actually participated. I started this doing this fair in 2007 (Guess I just wasn’t listening to my inner voice very well…) However, there was something about this fair that wasn… Continue

Mothers Are A Gift

Mothers Are a Gift

It’s true- Mothers are a gift. Now your Mom might be the kind of gift like mine was- one you’d return if you got the chance… But did I learn from her? You bet. Some Mothers are truly “gifted”. Chérie Carter-Scott articulates what gifted Mothers know:
• Truth #1: Having a child changes your life.
• Truth #2: Motherhood is an experience unlike any other.
• Truth #3: A Mother has many roles.
• Truth #4: Children blossom when you honor their essence.
• Truth #5: Love shows up in… Continue

Magic is in the Air and Everywhere

love this time of year… Love is in the air. It’s own magic indeed. Valentine’s Day is a happy day for some. Those who are in love (or think they are) celebrate this day. Those of us that want to be in love or who’ve just come out of a relationship maybe wish we were (in love) and feel just a little left out. It’s an event alright- just

Healing With Water by Walks With Thunder

Our planet called Earth should really be called Ocean or water as our world is 70% or so covered with water. Fun fact, our brain is 85% water, our blood 80%, learned that on Good Eats. Hey if its on food channel it has to be true right? With all that water in our lives it must be really important. Dr Emoto's work with water crystals, will and intent fascinate me. Though I think he has just scratched the surface of the water enigma. In my work I use water to heal. Its aneasy process, or I wouldn'… Continue

The Prosperity Blessing for One Spirit Journal

By,

Walks With Thunder

Most of us want prosperity. We try all kinds of things to attract it, even Feng Shui. I have heard of folks putting coins in the corners of their home to attract monetary prosperity. There are some who say changing the position of furniture in a room can make that happen as well. Of course, you can always pay a few hundred dollars and buy the latest secret of prosperity on late-night TV. * This year I even gave myself a

Energy Shielding Made Easy

By, Walks With Thunder

If there were an Easy Button™ for shamanism, it would have my name on it. Sometimes it is a disappointment to those who expect me to have them suffer through a test or ritual to feel worthy. A Vision Quest is not required; nor a stay on a mountain for four days with only a knife and blanket. I am non-traditional, and by that I mean I don’t do many rituals. My way is as easy and powerful as dreaming. I learned how to create an Energy Shield in the D

If you give an Apprentice some Fairy dust…

Here I am at 49 just getting back to where I began as a child, seeing and believing in Fairies. Yes I am a confident man, in myself and my abilities. Why then should I want or even care that Fairies are real and in our world. Hope, is a good reason, that they are here gives me hope that humans have a chance to live in a world of peace and happiness.

I do have the sight that allows me to see supernatural beings. Most folks do they just reason away the special things that happen in our l

We Live in a Magical World

By, Walks With Thunder

As we walk though life we filter out so much of it. It is theorized that our eyes take in 80,000 pieces of information and sift that down to 20,000 useable pieces of information. I suppose it’s like the sense of smell, if a fragrance is there long enough we don’t notice it anymore. We are used to not seeing the magical and wonderful in our lives that we don’t actually notice when it’s right in front of us. When we do notice we just ex

INTERVIEW WITH A SHAMAN 2

ON THE ROAD WITH ANDY RODRIGUEZ

From the Editor: I first met Andy (Walks with Thunder) last fall when I interviewed him for the paper. It was a usual day for him, you know – clearing the weather, doing healing, and telling stories. For me it was the remarkable start of my friendship with him, his shaman grandfather’s spirit, and the presence of the thunder spirits in my life. Over this past year, I have heard many testimonials, thanks, and reports on healings & spiritual fea

INTERVIEW WITH A SHAMAN

The Spirit of a Thunder Spirit

By Jai Tiger Deardorff, Editor

One of the great blessings that I have in my work is meeting so many different kinds of people expressing a diversity of work that in its great common heart has one purpose. Sometimes as I travel to meet people, I am not sure what to expect.

Changing The Weather 101 By Walks With Thunder

As many of you have noticed our weather has been changing on its own. If we can believe a man who claims to have invented the internet, our planet is in trouble. Our recent category 5 Hurricanes and record numbers of tornados as well as record high temperatures would all seem to support a growing trend that could actually make me believe a politician could be right about the weather. Then again I am not used to trusting that sort of person and can take care of the weather with the help of my
